Metal filters are filter elements that consist of metal fabric or knitted wire mesh. Baffle and fire protection filters are special filter elements that are used in ventilation systems. They are intended to prevent the penetration of sparks or flammable particles. These special filters consist of stainless steel and, thanks to their special honeycombed structure, thus prevent a fire from spreading. Available in various configurations, baffle and fire protection filters are used in the chemical, petrochemical and wood industries and in kitchens. As a result, they offer an important safety function to minimise fire hazards.
